Surprisingly, Bob knew Sallie well and was able to share many photographs of her working with the lighthouse's beautiful fresnel lens. Sallie died in 2020. He had previously been a lighthouse keeper at Saddleback Ledge, Monhegan Island, and Tenants Harbor Lighthouses in Maine.
